Alright, so I’m currently looking for a part-time job somewhere other than shitty fast food joints. Yes, I said joints. I’ve put in applications for countless positions at umpteen venues, and NONE have contacted me for at least a stupid interview. AN INTERVIEW IS ALL I’M ASKING FOR!
Jebus Crust, I don’t understand it. I get that the economy’s bad, but fuck… I can name five people who have jobs. The economy isn’t THAT bad as to where hobos are piling up on the sides of the street. Well, maybe just not where I live. I don’t get out much.
Another thing is that stupid Equal Opportunity Act. It’s awesome! It hires minorities! I am a woman, thus I am a minority. Why am I not getting a god-forsaken interview?!?!?!?! If I was Captain on the Enterprise, I would set phasers on kill, and wipe out every Pizza Hut, Peebles, Giant Eagle, Kmart, Gamestop, Shop ‘N Save, etc…. The list goes on my friends.
If only I had connections to the mafia. And I don’t mean the Myspace application. If anyone can help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated. Live Long and Prosper.
